I am new at ordering nibs from Pen Realm. I thought I checked the box to request that the new nibs be tuned/smoothed before shipping. I received the 3 nibs and placed them in pens and all of them do not write smoothly and are a bit scratchy and one did not start well and skips. 😞 I may have misunderstood that you cannot ask them to be tuned before sent and just had lousy luck with all 3 of the nibs not writing smoothly.

It's perfect. Little else to say - it writes beautifully., so smooth It's on a pen that I wasn't using because the nib was too broad. It is now happily in my rotation of favorite pens!

I am new to fountain pens. I've found I've had to work on the nib on every pen I have purchased to get it to stop scratching up the paper. But right out of the box, this nib just glided across the page.

You can really tell that you are getting a well constructed, quality product. The metal on this nib is very robust, and I know it will last for years. I have been looking for somewhere to order replacement nibs, and am so delighted to have found Pen Realm! This was the pefect nib for my Vazir Paradox Black. It matches the pen and writes a smooth ultra-fine line.

This Cursive Smooth Italic is a joy to write with. My first Kirk Speer custom nib, and I am delighted and grateful!

I had this broad ground into a smooth cursive italic, and it has quickly become my favorite nib! It is smooth yet still gives good line variation, and tolerates a bit of line variation, with a very nice feel to it. I will be back for more!
