Esterbrook Jowo #6 Nib Units

Great custom grind on this Esterbrook gold plated nib. I really wanted this to elevate the writing experience on my new pen and it sure did. So great that I could purchase the branded nib and have Kirk Speer grind it for me.

I ordered this with cursive smooth italic customization and it is incredible! I really love how this nib writes, it's juicy just enough but still gives some crispness to my script. A great writing experience! I already ordered another one. Thank you!

I'd purchased my very first Estie not long ago, and while it was lovely, I realized quickly the writing experience with my nib wasn't very smooth. I heard about having nibs tuned, and started looking around out of curosity. I heard Kirk Speer and pen realm mentioned in some posts on fountain pen groups, and came to find some replacement nibs here at Pen Realm, and in the extra fine I'd originally wanted to try, too!

Shipping was quick, and the nib was packaged carefully. There was even a small handwritten thank you note. I was not disappointed! The writing experience with the new extra fine nib is so incredibly smooth! Really enjoying journaling with my Estie ever since it came in! These nibs are excellent. They write so smoothly, consistently. I actually bought this to replace the same nib size in the original pen - these just write better!

I got the Waverly grind on a medium tip and it's 10/10. I think I've just found my favorite nib style. It writes so smoothly and lays down ink beautifully. 10/10!

So very smoooooooth! Would 100% buy nibs from Pen Realm again. I had a scratchy nib on a high end pen that I permanently damaged trying to tune it myself. So, I bought this nib as a replacement and now the pen writes like silk.
