I purchased a Posting nib for my Opus88 mini after trying one of Kirk's at Paper Mouse. While mine writes ok (consistent , XF, smooth), it's neither as fine nor as smooth as the one I tried (I'm using the same paper but different ink). The one I tried was considerably finer than Kirk's needlepoint sample at the store. My Posting is roughly the same fineness as the needlepoint sample.
I didn't contact Kirk afterward since I don't want to deal with shipping costs and it writes adequately....I've had much worse nib work by other "acclaimed" nibmeisters.
Great little nib. Needed a replacement for a pen I'd purchased and got this one tuned and smoothed wonderfully by Kirk. Fast shipping, great communication. Superb work as always from Pen Realm.
