A tribute to the humble penny, this limited edition celebrates the coin’s distinctive colors and history through three beautifully crafted memo books.

The covers are inspired by copper’s changing shades over time: Rosewood, an orange-pink hue; Mocha, reminiscent of a well-worn penny; and Mint, capturing the green patina of oxidized copper. Each book is made with 100-lb Mohawk Mosaic cover stock, finished with metallic copper foil stamping and embossed on the back with one of three iconic penny designs: the wheat stalks, the Lincoln Memorial, or the Great Seal.

Turn the backing card over to discover a heartfelt ode to the cent, along with a special space to keep your luckiest penny whether it’s a pristine example from the final 2025 batch or a well-loved coin you happened to find heads-up on the sidewalk years ago.

The durable semi-transparent polypropylene cover resists scratches while allowing for easy personalization with stickers or inserts beneath the cover. Expertly thread-bound in DAIGO’s factory in Japan, the notebook opens fully flat at 180° for a seamless writing experience.

"Iroful" means "colorful," substituting the English word "color" for the Japanese word "iro." Accordingly, this new paper from Sakae TP—the originator of the hugely popular Tomoe River paper before its move to Sanzen—aims to bring out colors' full depth and vibrance with crisp lines and excellent shading and sheening for fountain pen inks. Iroful paper has a somewhat soft feeling and slight texture, and the 75 g/m thickness reduces ghosting and show through.
