J. Herbin is the oldest name in pen inks in the world. He created The Jewel of Inks" in his shop on the Rue des Fossess Saint-Germain in Paris in 1700. J. Herbin inks uses all natural dyes in their fountain pen inks. The smooth flow, fast drying time, and neutral pH makes it a great option for your fountain and dip pens.

*Due to the particles added to the ink to create the shimmer, you may experience restricted ink flow in some pens. It is recommended to shake the ink before filling your pen and to gently roll the pen in your hands before use, this will help keep the shimmer in the ink consistent and help with preventing clogging but not entirely. You will also want to be sure and keep your pen well maintained and clean when using shimmer inks.
